Attitude

Your attitude is what presents yourself, and plays an important role especially in forming first impressions on how others view you. You may come across a total stranger and come to find out later, that person who formed a bad impression on you days earlier will be the one to interview you for a big job spot.

It has happened numerous times before, and we have to realize that the world is a small place. We should not take these things lightly because you never know when such a thing will happen to you one day.  It is always necessary to keep these thoughts in the back of your mind when living at this age and time.

Topics Within the Book

After reading a large portion of the book What I Wish I Knew When I Was 20, I have found that much of what was being said have come across my mind at one time or another (the concepts that are being stressed), however sometimes we forget these things.

Some of these include having a good attitude and will to put yourself out in the world, always be willing to help others no matter how you are emotionally at the time, and to think critically and pursue your dreams no matter how crazy it may seem.

Everything starts off small, and it doesn't hurt to think "abnormally" or away from the norm, as all great innovations and concepts start off that way.
